Palestinians were murdered by Israeli airstrikes in Gaza in the last 24 hours,
marking a dramatic increase in the level of violence. Palestinian medical
professionals say that more than 300 people have died since Thursday. Israel
began "Operation Gideon's Chariots," a military operation aimed

spike in violence.

in reprisal for the October 2023 attacks, has killed over 53,000 people.
Following Israel's March 2 cutoff of essential humanitarian deliveries to the
region, widespread hunger and malnutrition among youngsters have also
increased. Due to a lack of supplies and frequent Israeli attacks on hospitals
and medical facilities, Gaza has limited access to healthcare. In an address to
the UN Security Council on Tuesday, UN assistance chief Tom Fletcher called for
a restart of aid to Gaza, claiming that hunger was imminent.
